mini update #3: love and dedications: the big bat and superman have nothing on poison ivy

midweek superhero dedication~

you probably don’t know this about me, but i do love comic book heroes (not to mention villains). i harbour a not-so-secret desire to some day publish a comic of my own but, you know, time, time…

i hope you are all having as lovely a mid-week as i (cozy heater, mary poppins, and a commission-in-progress). if only my kitten were here everything would be perfect!

mini update #2: i was there (there i was)

my week started like this:

(check out the lower left hand corner – i didn’t even realise he snuck into the photo until i uploaded it. at least i kept him out of my breakfast.)

his name is raskolnikov, after dostoyevsky’s crime and punishment anti-hero and he’s all (well, half) mine. i love him to bits. (how could you not?)

also. my image program cannot reduce photographs to save its life (or, you know, chunk of harddrive). i don’t suppose anyone could recommend some sort of basic shareware/free image softwear that would reduce photos without making them look pixillated?
